Lots of stuff has happened, is happening, has always and already happened. So let us default to Forrest's fave form of forum funiculus: lists.
1.It is stupid cold here, and I have a stupid cold. The only good thing about this is masks. Masks are awesome and I love to wear them.
2.I sometimes write personal entries and immediately delete them.
3.This is awesome: Animals!
4.We had a seminar-esque thing today and I had a great time. (Despite the fact that I saw one of my teachers fall asleep twice!) "MY NAME IS KATE! KATE STARTS WITH K! KATE STARTS WITH K!" Ah, music to my ears.
5.I totally lit my kitchen on fire today. It was one of those slow things where you see it, see it happening and your reaction is oddly measured. I was completely surprised later at how I acted: 'Oh. Fire. Hmmm. I should get some water to put that out. Well, not this water. I just finished boiling it and I want it. I will get a bowl and fill it with water. Ok. Good. Pour and...fire out. Done. Back to boiling water.' It was bizarre.
I barely burned anything though.
And, on the plus side, my house is really warm now.
Addendum: I was boiling water because my water heater isn't working and I haven't showered in three days because who wants to take an ice cold shower in November? So I decided to do it the old fashioned way and boil water for a bath. Now I know exactly how many tea-kettles full my bath is. It is a real eye-opener on conservation.
