I am ten lbs heavier now than when I got here and I need to realize that that doesn't make me a bad person, or that I shouldn't enjoy things or hang out with my friends. It has been a slow learning curve this year--ten lbs doesn't make me ugly, undeserving and doesn't mean I should hide in my house like the Phantom of the Opera too scared to be seen.
and lets remember that we needed to put on a little weight when we first got here, right?
you are not a bad person.
being fat, in the sense of fat, sometimes to some people will make you a bad person, because it suggests you dont take care of yourself. clearly you dont fall into that category.
